Lebre-das-savanas (African Savanna hare)

An African Savanna hare (formerly, Lepus microtis) hiding from the sunlight in a small tree shadow.

They also use their ears (look how vascularized it is!) as a heat exchange mechanism, sending hotter blood to the ears and, thereby, dissipating the excessive body heat.
