Red-legged seriema

A red-legged seriema from the savannas of Brazil's mid-north. The red-legged seriema is a common bird across much of South America, extending as far south as Uruguay and Argentina. The species prefers grasslands and semi open habitats, and it is absent from both the Amazon Basin and the Atlantic Forest.
