Gray brocket deer

A male gray brocket deer stares at one of our cameras in the Cerrado biome. The gray-brocket deer is commonly found in open and semi-open habitats in Eastern South America, south of the Amazon River. They are not threatened globally, and continue to be a fairly common species.
