Northern Tiger Cat

Happy Felid Friday to all the followers of Wild Cats Brazil Project. Here we have a northern tiger cat from one of our sites in the Caatinga biome. This is a male with the characteristic spot and color pattern of Leopardus tigrinus tigrinus. This species is very rare throughout its range and it is globally threatened.
