Stripped hog-nosed skunk

We start off the week with this image of a skunk from the Cerrado biome. This particular species has a wide, albeit disjunct distribution in Latin America. From Southeast México to Perú, west of the Andes, and in Northeast Brazil. It is absent from the Amazon Basin. A solitary animal, it is mostly active at night.
