We are happy to share with you this beautiful individual from the northern savannas. The northern tiger cat is globally threatened, and endangered at the national level. As currently defined this species has a disjunct distribution, two small pockets up north in Central America and the northern Andes, and a continuous distribution across most of tropical South America. Though its range limits are poorly known.
