Pampas Cat

An individual from the savannas in Brazil´s midnorth. Pampas cat´s distribution spans Western South America along the Andes, as well as the open savannas and wetlands of Bolivia, Paraguay, and Brazil. At this study site, we usually capture melanistic individuals. This one has a non-melanistic coloration. Pampas cat coat patterns vary greatly along its distribution.
